Dear Kiwanis Scholarship Recipient,

We say, "Congratulations and best wishes," as you embark on a new stage in your life. The scholarship we offer you is intended to help you pay for college-related expenses. This could include tuition, fees, books, supplies, or however would be most beneficial to get you off to a good start.

After you have officially enrolled at your college of choice

we will send a check directly to you for the full amount. *This scholarship is good for 2 yrs. from the date of your graduation from high school. If you need an extension, please contact us using this Contact Us Link.

To claim your award

Complete the Contact Information for Scholarship Money form with the following information:

1. Proof of enrollment at your college; this can be a scan/screenshot of your classes or tuition payment (from the official college student portal)

2. Your full name: how you want it to appear on the check

3. Your mailing address: the most convenient place for us to send your check.

Each year, we provide scholarships to high school seniors at both Norco High School and John F. Kennedy Middle College High School.

Our scholarship process is coordinated with the school counselors. We receive the student submitted scholarship applications and determines our interview and selection schedule.

Deserving students are recognized at the school's Awards Assembly and at a club event at Cowgirl Cafe.

We award:

Scholars Award, for high academic achievement

Service Award, for students who volunteer their time and talents to clubs and organizations both on- and off-campus.

Key Club Award, for a graduating member of the high school's active Key Club.

Women in STEM Award, for young women who have chosen a major in one of the STEM categories: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Future Educators' Award, for a graduating senior who expresses an interest in teaching as a career goal.
